Just installed walbro 255 fuel pump in my 91 hatch with ls swap and now im getting sputtering in 1st gear (4k) 2nd gear (4k). 3rd, 4th, and 5th are fine. And im still pulling the CEL 43 for my fuel system. I replaced the injectors, installed new fuel pump and ran fuel system cleaner through it.

What to do?

I also bought a new fuel filter. The FPR and Fuel Rail are going to be my next victims. The Walbro 255 fuel pump is set at 40psi and the stock one was set at 36psi. Im thinking that im putting to much fuel into the motor, to where it isnt being burnt up as fast as it should.

Today im replacing the stock injectors with RC 310 Injectors, and replacing the spark plugs. Maybe this will subside my dilemma. Although I could be wrong.

to bad the injectors made you sound like you had stage 3 cams in it lol but the weird part is, is when you dont use all the gas its supposed to go to a return line back to the tank but yours just seems to just roll out the exhaust
