Help with 89 crx
The other day i was giving my car a tune up. I changed the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, and fuel filter. Now my car wont start. It turns over but wont start. I know that its getting spark and checked all the spark plugs. the wires on the distributor cap are in order too. This seems like an easy fix but iv tried everything i could think of.
Check and see if your getting fuel past the filter.
Make sure your rotor is put on the right direction.
Check your spark plug gap.
Does the motor run at all?
Does is backfire?
what else could you have done to effect it?

I checked fuel filter and lines and im getting fuel past the filter.
the rotor is installed the right way, the rotor could only go on one way.
The spark plugs are gapped correctly.
The motor turns over but still no start.
i forgot to mention this but i also replaced the pcv valve and hose, ignition coil, and main relay.
Still no start.

This happened to a friend of mine...
Assuming that ur injectors are spraying fuel, i would check to make sure that ur spark plug wires are actually contacting your spark plugs. It may sound stupid but alot of people over look this and just assume their getting spark to the cylinder automatically.
Make sure that ur plugs arn't fouled out from cranking it over too much with no spark, and take the top boot off the plug and feed the wire down through it some to make sure there is enough length for a good connection. Then pop her on till u feel/hear the clicking of it grabbing the spark plug.
Hope this helps.
