1993 hatch rim/tire size will it rub?
hey i need new rims and tires and im looking at 15x7 with 205/50's car is dropped 2" on tein springs, will the tires rub? i need help with that not sure if 15x7 is too wide or if 15x6.5 will be wide enough. i want the widest i can get without any rub for traction. thanks
edit: also i saw the faq and saw the recomendments but im trying to see if i can squeeze the 205/50's in there with 0 rub or if 195/50 is as big as i can go.

first off, what's the offset of the rim?
secondly, i would use 195.50.
if rubbing is your main concern using 205 will increase your chances of rubbing.
dont buy the wrong sized tire. buy a stickier tire if you are looking for traction.

I thought they only made the star spec in a 195/55?
If they make them in a 195/50 oh boy I cant wait to get some
edit: Just confirmed this. This is great news! A little more pricey than the 55 series but oh well
Yes, they recently came out with some additional sizes for the Star Spec, including 185/60-14 and 195/50-15 for del sols, CRXs, and pre-'96 Civics, and 195/60-14 and 205/50-15 to go along with the 195/55-15 for Integras and '97-00 Civics.
