anyways... in short... what should i get? carbon fiber hood or JDM headlights? i'm leaning towards JDM headlights because they're so rare and fucken beautiful!... lemme kno what u guys think....

i got both on my car and they compliment each other REALLY well. If you find a good price on the lights i would jump on it, i got mine for 305 shipped, thats a pretty damn good deal if you ask me. However, i got my hood for 100 bucks plus swapping out my stock one

 

100 for a c/f hood???? hook me up!

 

Get the CF hood, and then paint your headlights to make them look like JDM ones.....

Go for the JDM headlights! I saw a 'lude with them yesterday and they looked sweet!

 

i am going to get mine soon. Go for the jdm headlights!

 

I wanted JDMs and a CF hood. After I bought the JDMs and put them on I didn't feel the "need" for the CF hood....it was good enough for me!



And I think if you get the CF hood first you will HATE your stock headlights

what color is your lude? mines silver, i got both at the same time, and man does it look awesome..also dont paint your stock lights, it doesnt look the same, the gap is still there between the corner light...doesnt look good in my opinion...good luck

 

what would u want to get headlights for when your car could be lighter and faster?

I personally think both if thats at all possible. but any way a hood isn't going to be much lighter and make your car much faster.

i too vote for the cf hood.
what color is yer ride? if it's black.. then ... cf hood don't show up too nice.
but if it's any thing than black.. then the cf hood really shows up nice.
and the hood is performance mod. the lights are not.
hood 1st. lights 2nd.
and the hood cost more... we like it when ppl throw more $$ into their ludes.

But the ludes is a pig, and everything helps. The stock hood has to weigh 50lbs(Dont really know,but its heavy)

 

That Satan_SRV lude is hotter than all the fiery coals of hell. That has to be the cleanest and most menacing ride i have ever seen. Post up pics of the rest of it man, 3/4 shots and stuff! i really love the blacked out lights in the air dam. its on me, bro.

c/f hood=functional; lighter than stock, weight is the enemy!
headlights=cosmetic; non-functional; unles of course they are some how brighter/lighter or otherwise superior to whats on your car now. progress man, if your going to spend money, go forward, not sideways.
