too late. where can i get the computer jumper? im ordering the disturbtor harness from jhpusa. the only thing im worried about is the wiring. I didnt ask for a differnt option just making sure im correct.
search google and you'll find numerous sites offering jumpers. rywire and eBay are just 2.
you're in for a lot more headache using the obd2 computer i have to tell ya. you'll need to wire up a second o2 sensor after the cat, and run wires for the extra evap equipment on the intake manifold. you will also need to wire up the crankshaft fluctuation sensor that's located on the oil pump. your car lacks things an obd2 vehicle would have so lord knows what other codes you might end up throwing. there's probably more but that's all i can think of at the moment.
oh and something you may not have realized yet is you won't be able to check codes at all. obd2 ecu's don't utilize a blinking cel on the dash. they use a data port and an obd2 handheld reader. as i'm sure you've realized at this point, your car does not have this port. there may be a way that you could wire in a data port, but good luck finding a pinout to do so.

its always best to stay obd1 so you can tune the ecu. obd2 sucks and everyone is alkways finding a way around it for a reason. better off swapping most of your obd1 oil pump& pan, dizzy, iat sensor... most obd2 cars went to a 3wire iacv except for manual cars with vtec. which you will have to figure out.
i have a modis. thats only three sensors. i just didnt realize the evap on the intake. it cant be that bad, nothing is ever just plug and play. i have the enitre wiring harness. i could definitly find a way to wire in the obd2 port. ive seen people wire up entire harness's.

This swap is strait forward PLUG ND PLAY, no matter emissions or not. its a plug and play ordeal, no need to send your harness to rywire. unless this is simply a quest for odb2, i dont see or understand the point.
honestly i really dont get why you shoulg go from OBDI to OBDII, as far as I've searched the OBDI offers a lot more possibilities of tuning and way easier, in deed almonst no one knows how to tune OBDII properly, can anyone find a deal between the 2?
no you cannot tune OBD2 ECU's. You must run a piggyback (atleast for most ECU's) or a standalone (which then isn't really OBD2 anyway).
