...D16z6 Q's about the egr...

Just finished up my d16z6 swap in to my eg..nd my question is do I/need to hook up the egr? Would anything happen if I don't hook it up? Let me know...thanks for any and all help....

A D16Z6 does'nt have an EGR valve. What are you trying to ask here?

Well having a code 12 now..nd looked it up nd it says EGR???

You might not be reading the CEL blink sequence correctly?

Yeah, are you 100% sure you are reading the code right? Also, what ECU?

I have the same problem. When I run my ECU test my check engine light blinks 1 long 2 short (code 12). It says EGR Valve. Apparently my D16z6 doesnt come with an EGR Valve.....so do I need to replace my ECU?...
