would this tire size rub on my car- 205/50/15
i have a 91 crx si, its lowerd on progress springs w/tokeko sturts, if i put 15" rims w/205/50/15 tires, will they rub. or should i go w/ tire size 195/50/15, thanks
Go with 195...I've heard peeps with 205 complaining about rubbing on sharp turns and if they have passengers. Unless you shave the inside of your fenders, fold the lip or something, I'd stick with the 195's. I converted to 91 teg rear disc brakes and I think they are a bit wider than the Si's, so the 195 seem flush on the rears, even with 195's.
I had problems with rubbing on my 205/50/15s running on sprint springs 2.5front and 2.25rear. I had to roll both back fenders. But still rubs when I put three ppl in my hb. I am running GSR clovers right now with 195/55/15s works way better.
