Ok i had i d16y8 swap it the car after my zc went out. now i just got a jdm zc and i put everything back in and iam running the 92-95 intake manifold. everything is hooked up how it should be map,tps.etc and i put in all fluids and was happy to get it done. iam running the pm6 ecu and i try to start the car and its geting spark and gas but its not fireing up. the ecu is flashing 8 lights??? i know its the tdc sencor but do you think its bad? cuz i dont feel like buying a new dist. and it was running fine before i had everything stored in tubs with lids cuz i knew i would go back to the zc. any help guys?

what distributor do you have on the engine?

 

I'm throwing a TDC code as well with my OBD0 LS dizzy on my hatch (91 STD converted to MPFI w/ LS motor). Car runs perfect regardless of this code. I wouldn't worry about it unless you're DESPERATE to fix it, then just either a) get a new dizzy or b) replace the sensor in the dizzy you have.

 

thanks for the help guys. my buddie had aftermarket pulg wires from ebay and it burned out the ign coil. problem fixed.
