swar bar question
i have a st rear swaybar for my ef. only problem is that i dont have a front swaybay. not even a stock one, so will the performace suffer because of the lack of a front sway bar?
No. Adding a front bar will bring some understeer. Unless you can find a cheap one at a junkyard, I wouldnt bother with it. It might make it feel a bit better, but in reality its just making the car push.

Yeah but having a decent-sized rear bar and NO front bar might make the car TOO tail-happy, especially during lift-throttle, whereas adding a front bar might make the car a bit more balanced.
I could see skipping the front bar on track, but not while autocrossing. That is a personal preference and is not "the answer" for everyone, just me.
In other words, no easy answer here. Trial and error time, which is why starting with a cheap junkyard bar is a good start, to prevent wasting too much money if it isn't right for you.
Entirely depends on spring rates, rear swaybar size, driver preference, tires, driving conditions, and intended use(s) of the car.
