wider OEM replica rims?
I'm not sure if anyone makes them or not. I'm looking for the GSR blades in either a 15 or 16 inch diameter by 6.5 or 7 inch width. I want to mount a 205 size tire on them. From everything I've seen so far all the replicas are the same stock size. Does anyone know of altered sizes?
When I was searching to see if this topic has been covered before I saw that nsxtasy had said not to mount anything over a 195 on a 6 inch wheel. I don't want the tire to be too big or to be stretched.
oh, i could have swore i saw that it was ok to mount 205/50-15 on an integra, which would assume that stock integra wheel sizings were considered. Hopefully nsxtasy will pop in here
I'm pretty sure I never said that. 205/50-15 is fine on the stock 15x6 rim width; most tires that size are approved for mounting on rims 5.5-7.5 inches wide. And 205/50-15 works fine on any Integra. So by all means go for it! (I just spent the weekend driving around the track on R compound track tires that size mounted on stock 15x6 Integra Type R wheels.)
If you're ever not sure what widths are okay, you can look up specs for the range of approved rim widths for any specific tire make, model, and size, either on the manufacturer's website or on the website of a tire dealer like the Tire Rack.

"16x8 wheels are too wide for 205/45-16 and are unsafe for that reason. 205/45-16 tires should only be mounted on wheels 6.5-7.5 inches wide.
And the proper size tire depends on your car (year, model, version), not on your wheels. "
Thanks for the good info though, you answered my question.
