EF (ED i guess :P) weird possible ground issue?
I've been having a weird issue lately with my si hatch. I've tried searching numerous combinations of words to no avail =(. Maybe i'm a downer but i can't find anything!
Every once in a while the fuel gauge will drop to empty and the car will drive with slight hesitation. Also, the turn signals on my cluster will stay lit up with the lights on, or will light up whenever i hit the brakes. Is there a ground somewhere in the trunk area i can mess around with? I have sounds wired up too so not sure if that might have something to do with it. usually goes away on its own, but if it doesnt, a quick pop and close of the hatch usually remedies this issue.
also while im at it, my intermittent wipers are working intermittently! Well, sometimes they dont do anything at all, and sometimes they work fine. is there a relay i can check for that? Not gonna lie, i didn't search for this issue since it's not a huge deal, but i figured i'd ask in the same post to kill two birds with one stone.
thanks again :D

Hey I just had a similar problem with my 90 si I fixed it by taking a piece of wire 10 gauge and connecting it to the negative side if the battery then grounded it to the chassis sand a spot and secure it to the chassis that fixed my problem see if it works
Ok guys like I said I just had a problem similar to yours everytime I hit the brakes my heat gauge would jump to hot and my blinker lights on the dash where very dim try what I said in my first reply it might work for u. It worked for me.
I'll give that a shot... just kind of weird since it's only an intermittent problem but i got some wire laying around the house somewhere i'll give it a shot.
so i took off that interior trunk cover that covers both tail lights and lo and behold the one bolt smack dab in the middle right below where the trunk latch attaches to was loose, and that's where ground cables were run to. tightened that sob up and it's fine haha. figures all i needed to do was not be lazy =(
on a second note, any ideas about my windshield wipers haha

but before i break the trunk open I want yo know what the it is I'm looking for.
