Driver side brake light not working when headlights are on
Hey wassup Honda-Tech. First post here, and I hate to make it a "help me, my car is broken post" but this is important, because I have a fix it ticket that is due soon, and I need this fixed asap. I'm not the greatest with electrical components in cars, so take it easy on me
. Anyways on to the problem:
I have a 1990 Honda CRX DX, and for some reason, my driver side brake light doesn't work at all while the headlights are on. When the headlights are off, and the brake pedal is pressed down, the brake light is only partially working (you can actually see that one of the two filaments are illuminated inside the bulb). The passenger side brake light works perfectly fine.
Now when I turn on the headlights, the driver side brake light doesn't even turn on at all. The passenger side brake light however continues to work normally. I changed out the fuses that relate to the headlights and rear lights, and that didn't help anything. I have brand new bulbs in both brake lights, and that didn't solve the problem either.
I would highly appreciate any help, like any other sources that I could check that may be the culprit. If you need any more details, let me know and I will post with answers. Thank you in advance.
