Default I need your advice/opinion on a set of BBS RM's that I own

Ok, going to try to make this as easy to understand as possible. I bought a set of BBS RM's from a guy on here last year. They were supposedly in mint condition. They were of supposed to have just got completely rebuilt and not have any miles on them. I purchased them for $950 shipped to my door. However when I received them they had all kind of bumps and dents on them. Also paint chips on the faces and 2 noticeable gouges in the barrels. Here are the pictures:

Wheel 1

Wheel 2

Same notch as above just at a different angle

Wheel 3

Wheel 4

All

I understand that I got pretty screwed over on these. Since I was told that they were in virtually perfect condition. They clearly are not. I am not worried about returning them to the guy anymore. I just want some opinions on them.

What I am really interested in is what can I do to fix these? Is it worth even fixing them? Could I just sell them as is and still get decent money out of them? Any information along those lines that you could help me with would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone want to help me or have any idea on if it would be a better route just to sell them or repair them?

I had two badly, badly damaged 5Zigen wheels fixed by a local wheel shop and they were as good as new. Two of them with significant curb damage and even metal missing were fixed for $125 each.

its def worth getting them fixed. the only real bad one is the one with the metal missing cause it looks to also be bent. i had 3 wheels straightened and they were as good as new. i would look into it.

Yeah, the one missing like a chunk of metal out of it is definitely the worst. Fedex took horrible care of them and banged up the lips pretty bad but what the guy who sold them to me on here was even worse. I guess I will do some research on getting them fixed I guess.

Does anyone have any idea on if it would be in my best interest to try and sell them as is though? I don't think I really want to keep them anymore. Anyone have a rough estimate on what I could get out of them? Keep in mind I paid $950 for them shipped to me.

i cant see the pictures but there are rim shops galore that can tig some material on them, repolish the lips ect. its not that hard, and not that expensive.

i would suggest you find someone to do it OUTSIDE of the honda hobby though. you send it to someone you find on this website and you are likely to get overcharged or scammed. look for someone who restores old porsche wheels.

Well I paid less but shipping and paypal and stuff bumped it up to $950. I know I know though. I got screwed. Not too worried about it anymore. I guess I will make some calls and see what can be done.

Thanks for the information averyone! Very much appreciated.
