So I have been looking for a clean. Crx for years 3 to be exact so I finally find one its a 91 base model with dual point injection well I have had it sence october of 09 never had a problem with it untill now ok so here is the problem I start the car when its cold it pops and backfires a little bit but once it gets warmed up it kicks and bucks really bad I know it needs a tune up pretty bad but I was also wondering if I put a multi point injecti intake manifold on it if it will help it run better and what would I have to do to get it to run properly and wire up properly so it will be dependable ok well back to the problem it pops and back fires at idle but the rpm dosnt drop but if I rev it up it gets worste and start to let off the clutch it like allmost dies and if I'm going up hill in a high gear *such as 4th gear* it pops and backfires like its gunna die please somebody give me some idea and what I would have to do do to put the multi port injection on this motor thanks guys I really need help with this reply or email me if you would like logie4270@aol.com

the other problem sounds like you need a tune-up and fix your Idle Air

 

i would also check to make sure you didnt jump time

 

I'm pretty sure I didn't jump timevi just had a timeing belt done in december but its worth checking because it did just start haveing this problem out of the blue one day so ill check it out if anybody else has any ideas just drop me a message and thanks a lot guys

 

Sounds a lot like a spark problem, as they said, tune up.
