Default Jackson Supercharger or GReddy Turbo

I know the difference of the two and stuff but im askin you tech's to fill in the shady areas. Which is better for everyday speedy driving? Which will take it easier on your enegine.... by the way its auto But I still will consider so which would be better for those reasons? Im aware the Supercharger costs more to buy than a small country But which is better>?

Turbo will make more power, but be less reliable
Supercharger will make less power, but more reliable

i agree with 97hb..and a supercharger is cheaper than a turbo especially if you get into tuning the turbo and whatnot..

the most expensive s/c by jackson racing is for the prelude which is somewhere around 3300 i think for civics there all under 3000..most turbo kits installed are like 3500...

you gotta be careful with a supercharger more then turbo, you gotta think that the s/c is driven by the belt conected to the crank and boosting constently. i heard that jackson racing have a boost controller to turn down boost, but still on a 6 hour trip, i rather take my chances on my turbo. tuning the s/c is a must all the time. ive heard good things about s/c and ive heard bad things about detonation and oil dripping from the s/c. it comes with the territory of getting more power i guess. but for reliablity id say go with the greddy turbo because i think they boost 3-4 psi without the intercooler, but ditch the box that comes with it and geta vafc hac, larger injestors, bov etc etc. or get a DRAG instead for your $$
