Default car starts and dies, with chipped p28. cant figure it out

just added a chipped p28 to my ek swapped with jdm b16. bought the car running with a p2p(obd2a) ran fine, no problems, just slow. bought a p28 chipped for b16 supposedly, and runs really rich now. but a lot quicker with the new ecu. i stepped down to obd1 obviously.

Problem ive recently started to have is itll turn over but doesnt wanna keep running and dies unless i give it gas. Once i start moving itll run fine and wont die. If i shut the car off after its been running for a while and crank it back on theres no problem, just when it sits for a lil bit. Like ive said car is running really rich and ive been told by one person thats the reason it dies when i start it. Im not sure, Im gonna have it rechipped and see if that solves the problem.

Oh and since ive put the p28 i burnt out an o2 sensor, not running the 2nd one. No cel's with the p28, thinkin it could be chipped to trick the o2 sensors. threw the p2p in and ran the codes and thats what im throwing

Get it tuned properly.

You have a low idle problem. Try cleaning the IACV and replacing the PCV valve. If that doesn't help, then try adjusting the idle speed with the adjust screw on the throttle body.

sounds to me it wasn't tuned properly. I double check the fuel and air ratio maybe?

Does it idle normal when it stays on?

if it doesnt have problems with the old ecu back in the its not a mechanical problem

get it tuned... did you buy this form a company or from your buddy? i look at a basemap as... just until i get to the tuner not as an actual tune that doesnt mean people cna run basemaps with no problems but whn you order stuff like that its taking a chance
