88 Crx Injectors Not Firing
I swapped a obd1 ls into his 88 crx hf with Si interior and engine harness.... I used a step up, obd1 injectors and distributor... went to start the car and it wouldnt turn over, car has spark and fuel is getting to the fuel rail but the injectors arent spraying... funny thing is all of the injectors are getting power 12 volts, so i am stuck anyone can help need this car running asap.......
I am in the exact same boat as you my friend!!! Did you solder on obd1 injector clips onto the obd0 harness? I am getting 12v to the left side of the injector (looking at the injector from the front of the vehicle). I wonder if I have to reverse them?
welll i think the stripped wire is positive and the solid is negative because thats the one that goes to the ecu for the negative signal..........
I just did an DPFI obd0 to MPFI obd1 swap. Check your wiring again and make sure everything is connected correctly. I found my problem to be that I never moved C1 and C2 over to B10 and B12. Most likely its your distributor wiring. Its not sending the "pulse" to the injectors
striped yellow/black is positive and solid is negative that runs to the ECU.

its already mpfi so i dont need to wire that and ima check the injectors again make sure they all wired correctly and not switched around......
I checked all my injectors and 12v is on the yellow/black wire on each one. I replaced the ignition switch and main relay and still no luck. Any more ideas? Adi_King: let me know if you find anything!
yea ima go home and try taking out my resistor box ppl say u cant use it with obd1 injectors because u wont get the proper signal to the injectors but it works on my boys 91 crx si so idk ima take mine off though and check my grounds again
the funny thing is i have 12 volts right now with the resistor box hooked up and obd1 injectors so i will see if that makes a difference....
I did notice on rywire's obd0 to obd1 instructions that there is a white wire coming from their harness. It says to connect it to the knock sensor on the back of the block. I still have the stock one hooked up from the si harness. Could this be related to my issue?
Nah u can start and run a car without knock sensor did a ls swap in a crx in my boys car like 3 weeks ago runs fine and I have yet to wire knock and the o2 sensor……

just delete the resistor box. if it fixes it, great. if not, then you now know for sure that is not the problem. and probably a dumb question but i assume you are using an obd1 ecu?
