Default b18c1 to b18c5 conversion?

Can you add things to a GSR motor to make it a type r and be less? or just buying a type r motor will be cheaper.

chipped p28...no rev limiter+3k vtech=type r.

edit: o/p, why post this here? people in the ALL MOTOR FORUM are more likely to respond to a question like that, as apposed to the Type R (yes I just did that) peeps here who generally like to answer questions and discuss topics based on the o/p actually owning an 'R. The type R forum, in my opinion is almost like an island, many can come and visit, but only those privileged enough to own (and dare i say respect?) a DC2 'R are allowed to stay.
