Default Can't rev past 7900 on Crome

As the title says, recently I took the car out and as usual the car spins 1-3rd but after looking at the VAFC I noticed it was not going past 79xx RPM. The car runs great, plugs look good, no smoke everything is normal except it is hitting cut at this RPM. I checked the map and it was at 8300 rpm as before.

Like I said I never had an issue before and I do not know if when it bounces off the limiter it revs lower or what. Like I said my other things work just fine like 2 step etc...

No other issues with the car at all.

Here is a pic as I know they get more responses.

Opinions welcomed.

Does your tach say 7900RPM as well?

yes, it does. I have the CEL light come on at 8k but it does not. I don't know if it is doing this because it is bouncing off the rev limiter. I originally thought it was boost cut but that was not it. I am changing the plugs to see if that could be the culprit. Also will take a gradual acceleration approach to see if that works as 3rd gear at 7900 rpm is pretty quick to be on the streets. 2nd gear is all wheel spin.

Do a freeway 3rd gear pull. Sometimes your tach could be off or the Vafc could be off. What are you redlining at? and im assuming you're using the free version of Crome.

Make sure that you have FTS=rev limiter, and set launch control the same as well to make sure that isn't causing it. Vtec is still working for sure??

yea full throttle shift and rev limiter have to be set to the same rpm.

Occasionally if I make too many adjustments to a ROM it'll get corrupted, try importing your values to a fresh ROM.
And make sure ALL your sensor readings are normal through your datalogger. If you have a bad VAFC connection it could be affecting the chip outputs.
