Default how to move crank and cams..

I'm changing the water pump and timing belt, and having a hard time moving the cam and pulley,in order to get them to TDC what's a good way to do this?

align all your timing marks

remove spark plugs, then rotate engine via crank pulley bolt to where timing marks are aligned.

^x2 on removing atleast 1 spark plug. motor wont be able to build enough resistance while you stick a ratchet into the crank.
