Default Can a catch can mess with your tune??

Ive got a b18c tuned with hondata at 12psi. Ive been running this exact setup and tune for 2 full seasons now without any problems. I just put a catch can system on the car. It consists of 2 -10an lines to the front of the valve cover and 1 -10an line to the back of the block. Everything that was left open was plugged back up. Full throttle seems to be good, however now when i'm cruising the car seems to have some type of engine resistance and then it stops, has resistance and then stops. While this is happening i'm noticing the A/F fluctuating from 13.?? up to 16 or 17.?? . Also, while the car used to idle around 950-1000rpm..it now seems to idle higher too. Can a catch can throw the tune off this much? Has anyone else ever had this happen? Any input would be great, thanks.

Adding a catch can setup didnt change my tune that I noticed, if it was to change I would think the WOT might change a hair but cruising shouldnt change at all.

Is it vented atmospheric?

Yes, it is vented to the atmosphere. All I've done to the car is rebuild the turbo, change the plugs out for new ones (same kind), and put the catch can system on the car. Like I said, its the same tune that's been working fine for 2 seasons. I'm assuming the "resistance" i'm feeling is when it goes lean while cruising?? If its not the catch can then i'm confused as to what it could be. Under full throttle it seems normal and holds right around 11.8:1 like it has been. Fuel pump and injectors are only 2 seasons old. The fuel pressure is still the same as when we tuned it. I'm stumped.

Just undo them from the catchcan and loop the hose.

I believe its fine. Like I said above, I dont seem to have any problems or hesitation under full throttle.

i had a similar issue with a ICM especially the resistance issue. felt like the car didnt want to go anymore if i was cruising in 4th or 5th. i tried everything and finally tried a spare dizzy and problem was solved.

You say you rebuilt your turbo? You sure a blade isnt contacting the housing now?
