Hey H-T as i was driving home from my friends house tonight my battery light came on. As i recall in a previous car i had a 94 nissan sentra, when the battery light came on it meant the starter or alternator was about to kick the dust, and sure enough a week later the starter went. Now im curious if it is the same for hondas. I have a 91 crx if that helps any. I havent noticed any dimming of the lights lately and it seems to idle just fine. the battery im using is the Password JDM battery locator kit with the tiny oddessy battery, which i bought brand new in august and has given me no troubles to this date. I have the car outside on a charger right now just in case. I just want to make sure that somethings not going to crap out on me soon. Any info is appreciated, thanks in advanced.

 

when my battery light came on my alterator took a krap take it off and get it tested g

 

start the car and check the voltage at the battery, if you're anywhere in the 12s, your alternator is ****.

Last battery light i had come on ended up being a bad alternator....easy fix!
