Skunk2 posted the notice about fake Skunk2 Pro intake manifolds on their website. The copies look really good unless you look very closely at them. I was freaking out when I read this because I noticed some oddities with my CARB sticker. I was able to verify, however, mine is legit (though there are some typos on the CARB sticker).

Also, one sure way to tell if your intake is legit, which Skunk2 doesn't mention in the article above, is to look for punch marks on the side of the throttle body flange facing the radiator. There will be one punch mark for B16/ITR motors, 2 for GSR, and 3 for B20s. Not sure about others, but if the punch marks are there, it's genuine. If not, it's a fake. I'm pretty sure they did the punch marks by hand, which is how the copycats missed it.

The only way to be sure is to buy from the manufacturer or a reputable dealer of theirs. Which sucks 'cuase you can save a ton of money buying used parts.
