gsr intake manifold in ef
i cant figure out how to run my secondary butterflys on my mani. should i? running gsr with p30s and delta stage 2 cams, trying to find a blox but there on backorder everwhere i call. im running the motor with a p28 with basemap for now, but would like to have intake mani working or new one before i get it tuned. also for you ef guys with gsr's how you runnin your throttle cables lol?
one side of the iab switch gets +12v, and the other runs to a17 at the ecu.
however, the only way that ecu will run the iab's is if it has been programmed accordingly. with just a stock p28 map, the secondary butterflies will not work.

With cams that large you probably are just better off swapping intake manis unless you plan on hogging out the GSR. (extrude honing).
The throttle cable just requires some trial and error as it's a tight fit.
D16si hatch is correct on his post.

thats what im doing but ive got the p72 ecu so it should work........ right?
I use a msd RPM switch (Its 5800 rpm btw) for the IAB, you aslo need the little vacuum tank, soleniod contol valve and a check valve. most people seem to not get these parts with their motor.
heres what the setup should look like. you need # 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, and thats assuming you have extra vacuum hose and bolts.

I cut the end of my throttle cable so I could slip a "cable stop" on, making the cable essentially adjustable, (use loctite on the set screw if you use one of those). I also made a little bracket to hold the cable to the side of the manifold.
