Default 95 prelude problem no shops can figure out!

so i bought a 95 prelude with an already swapped h22 with a few problems, for starters speedo doesnt work, i changed speed sensor and that did not do a thing. and also the rpm's are stuck at 2thousand, sometimes goes to 0 and than jumps and sticks at 2 again. anyone???

ok but my main concern is now the problem thats getting worse.. turns on and idles perfect. once i start driving sometimes this problem is bad sometimes very little issue. but so i begin driving at a normal speed and it will actually slowly start dying almost bogging out and split second jerk hard and take off as its getting fuel again? anyone know what this is and how to properly fix?? i did notice when i put premium fuel and put inj cleaner it did help.. but i cant see injectors being dirty make the car run this bad? i heard it could be egr valve? how do i fix??

Get a vacuum gauge should be 18in plus with a stock cam. This would tell me if the egr is working right, if the engine is sealing right, vac leak. Whats your fuel pressure? 91 octane is a minimum for those engines, you get better mileage so it pays off in the long run. Another thing I would do is reset the computer by unplugging the battery for a few min. I just had a H22a that was idleing funny because of a TPS was fixed , by reseting computer you make the ECU relearn. You also want check the TPS voltage, most hondas are .500 volts with the throttle closed. Use a anolog meter to check for dips as the throttle is opened. Check to see if fuel in coming out of your pressure regulator on vac side. Replace your fuel filter now there $20.
