crx fog lights
has any one used anything besides oem fog lights that have looked good. im not really looking to spend hundreds of dollars just to get oem fog lights.
i was using some crappy clear ones but they just cracked so its time for some new ones. i want yellow ones. if you have pictures and where you got that from it would help a lot.
im sure CRX SI-R will knows something i can use. where you at?

if you dont want to spend money on OEM fogs then prelude lights (88-89) are your best bet. they are about 1/4" bigger all then the stock lights but fit close to stock. you will still need to mount the prelude lights. the way i mounted them when i had a set before i dropped the cash for some OEM lights, was i drilled a hole into my bumper support and just bolted them in. no need for extra cash on JDM brackets.
ill have to look for a pic that shows exactly where i drilled the holes for the prelude lights on my usdm bumper support

As others have stated Honda Prelude foglights are your best bet. And you can get them for pretty cheap. Only thing you need to do is spray the lense the JDM yellow and your set. Here is a pic of the prelude fogs on my car. You can also try the DLAA foglights. Which fit nice and flush in a 1990-1991 CRX front bumper. The DLAA foglights can be found on Ebay for $32.50 shipped which is a steal. You guys that want the DLAA foglights should get them now. Last time I checked the seller only has like 3 amber sets left and 5 clear ones. They come in clear and JDM amber.

that still doesn't look right/good.
After seeing those DLAA fogs, I would definayrly choose those over the gay looking wal-mart/autozone/pepboys/Kragen (and I work there) fogs

It makes no difference that it's a hatch bumper. It doesn't matter. The fog lights are supposed to sit "flush" with the bumper, not buldge out like on your bumper. Just like on 88-89 style crx, the bumpers are similar to hb on the lower section, and they still sit flush. Don't get me wrong, you can still fix it and make it look the way it's supposed to, but that is why I only rock the oem fogs on my car. I don't want my car to look half assed. If put a lot of time/money into her and to just get sloppy with something as simple as fog lights, I don't think so.
