I've got a 92 Prelude an i keep wondering if its worth it to put any money in it, its got the h23a1 in it all stock everything engine wise.

 

Automobiles are not investments, so they're not worth putting money into (unless we're talking about restoring a classic to resell for a profit). Anyway, with a sissy-tranny and mediocre engine, you can't expect much for performance. Some people turbocharge the H23, but you'd spend more than the car is actually worth to make that happen, plus you won't get any of it back when you sell it.

If this doesn't fix your curiosity, try asking a better question.

 

Hey i'm in the same shoes as yourself. I just inherited a 92 lude auto unfortunately. I'm searching to see how hard is to do the auto-manual conversion and then swap in a h22 motor since they're pretty much had for 1500-2000 these days. In my opinion if you love the car then it will be unconditionally...

No that answers my question thanks yeah to swap to a h22 -manual would take a fair bit of work from what i know. Thanks for input

 

drop, wheels, and lip would make it look good regardless it being Auto or 5spd
