91 CRX dies randomly

91 CRX dies randomly

So when driving my crx sometimes when youc ome to a light it jumps up to 1500 rpm then tries to die but once in a while it does die any suggestions on why????

+1 on that. Just got my replace. Also replace the rotor, cheap and minus do it all at one time.

Hah, yeah, and be sure to check your timing n plugs after you replace it.

the same thing happens to mine! its the ignitor? do they sell just the ignitor? i tried lookin on autozone and came up with nothing. i have an 89 dx would an obd1 ignitor work? i have an obd1 dizzy in my garage

I work for autozone we carry them for i believe 49 99 and if its an igniter it wouldnt be coming and going igniter either works or it dont. Im thinking fuel filter.
