Default Need EF Help

Im new to the honda game, just trying to get my car to drive. bought the car for $300 with a spun bearing, pulled the motor out, replaced everything, except the clutch. put the car back together, the car starts, but doesnt go anywhere. u can hear it click into gear, just not go anywhere.

the car has a D15b7 in it, im just looking for possible advice before i start tearing the whole car apart again. the trans was replaced also during the motor rebuild.

you let the clutch out and it doesn't go anywhere? even when it's in gear?

sounds like you did your rebuild correctly but missed something around the clutch area. throwout bearing not disengaging? slave cylinder messed up?

its a cable clutch, my buddy is telling me a story about tightening the pressure plate to the torque spec. sayin it was nowhere near enough, and that caused the car to not go anywhere, does that sound like a possibility?

It's possible. In any case, for some reason you're not transfering power along the drivetrain.

If the motor is running and compression's good, its definitely right in there with the clutch / flywheel ****.
