I'm in the process of returning a previously JDM-fronted 98 R to its original USDM front. One of the final pieces I need is the OEM 98-01 ITR front lip/chin spoiler. I searched the classifieds archives, but had no real luck in determining a fair price for one. What should I reasonably expect to pay for one thats in pretty good shape? Thanks in advance!

You can still order them from Acura but I think it is around $480.

 

Depending on condition of a used lip, $150-$300 I have seen.

You're close to AcuraAutomotiveParts.org there in Duluth, GA. An OEM lip from these guys runs about $380 I believe.

been trying to find oem lip to but no luck so far plus dont want to pay $380+ for just the front lip from acura

 

i too need to find a factory replacement for my cracked lip and i need to replace my bumper as well, but not quite ready to get butt raped for $500 on a front lip.

hate to say it, but i'd probably go jdm front before i did that

 

Just look around i found a guy selling his recaro seats out his ITR so i got them for $400 and got his lip for $20!! and its the oem with the stamp, and his clock for $10 and his center consol lid for $40 so you might get lucky like me!

 

^ Sounds STOLEN to me. Who sells items they know are worth FAR more than that at those prices? Good for you, but i'd put money on it they were stolen.

Get one from the stealership. A little more spendy, but it will come brand new (duh), and factory painted. It would save alot of time over getting a used OEM one, sanding it down, having it painted, etc. Then again if you are going to have to possibly repaint a front end then get one in good shape. Look around on the marketplace for used ones.

 

Pohanka Acura, Chantilly Virginia...we sell the PY lip for $544 and the NHB for $630 brand new...ridiculous!!

 

it comes painted champ white if im not mistaken...so if ur car is red or yellow or SOL

I think there are different part numbers for each color as there are with other pre-painted parts, stickers, etc.

 

the local acura dealer around my way is 480 and its CW...i bought a whole front nose for 450 since the kid took it off and wient with a JDM front ;p. So I parted with the rest and kept the lip..Search around for one used.

 

the last two are ugly. the first one looks legit
