Hi i have an 88 integra ls and i just got a 92 honda prelude si 4ws and i was wondering if i would be able to switch the sunroof and moonroof? reason is because the moonroof have rust.

Also if any body has any parts let me know like:

stock muffler

Weather strip on driver side door on the actual door

or if that doesn't work a sunroof/moonroof

of coarse all these items in good condition.

I'm not sure about the 88 integra and 92 lude will switch. but the 5th and 4th gen lude for sure. about the moonroof having rust. is it just rust spots? if its just rust spots i sanded mine down put some bondo sand it again. that works.

 

well yeah i was thinking of doing that but i also wanted to try to put a sunroof instead of a moonroof

 

Yeah get a 97-2001 prelude glass sunroof...easy install and makes a huge difference...got mine from a guy in dallas that was parting ut his 5th gen. for $75

 

Indeed. I got mine for $60 from a guy on craigslist parting out his 5th gen, and it was complete with the entire assembly, not just the panel Also, OP, forget about the sun roof thing and just do the 97-01 swap if you put anything other than a 92-96 panel on. Moon roof > sun roof IMO.

 

not sure if its the same method as the 4th and 5th gens but i just pulled the entire moonroof assembly on my 3rd gen...it was a bitch and a half to take out the headliner without tearing it just to get to the actual moonroof chassis.. lol...
