Default Taking out a small dent

I'm gonna take my car into Maaco soon to get it a paint job, but I have a small sized ding on the back panel passenger side, and a small one on the passenger side door. nothing major. I have no clue how to properly take a ding out of a car though. Is there any thread already on this subject? any pointers or direction would help, thanks

I have seen videos of people taking out dents with either dry ice or a compressed air can flipped upside down. Search on google and you'll see what I'm talking about. Although smaller dents are harder to pop with this method but you can try since they are non destructive.

Just have Maaco fix it when they paint?

I'm more of a dyi guy. maaco does paint for cheap enough to justify not doing it myself.

You might try a "paintless dent repair" place. I had one remove 4 or 5 dings (one an ugly shopping cart impact) for about $100. Couldn't tell where they'd been when they were finished. Might be cheaper to have the dents undone instead of having Maaco fill 'em with bondo. If you're real industrious, you could search on paintless dent repair and try it yourself. Essentially, they get a pointed tool in behind the dent and push it out. I tried it on mine before paying, there must a bit of an art to it.
