i know it cost me over $50 in parts. i have rebuilt over ten of these and sell them for incredibly cheap. i can prove in a video that it runs through all five gears and reverse and that the shafts spin perfect!

ya i know. i have 4 transmissions sitting in my garage along with 3 blocks and 2 heads. plus i am building an EG Hatch. so i am not going to be greedy i just need money

Here's a question you may or may not be able to answer, went to Honda and the one tech mentioned that I would need new tranny bearings. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $1100 to replace that.
Would this rebuilt tranny have what I'm looking for?

 

yes it would. if you look in the pictures above you can get an idea of what the bearings look like. there are bearings on the differential, below the input shaft and on top of the countershaft where the snap ring rides. that is pretty damn expensive to replace all the bearings dont do it

ya. boarding2008 rebuilt his ex/si, an LS trans with tapered bearings, scspeed can vouch for me and im sure i can find more people
