Can someone verify why the red H's that I purchased from ICBMOTORSPORTS do not fit my 2004 EP3? I thought I read somewhere that the 04-05 front "H" is slightly bigger than the 02-03. Also, I figured that the back "H" would be the same, how come the red "H" that I purchased looks to be somewhat smaller in size. Part numbers of the "H's" are 75700-S5T-E01 and 75701-S5T-E01. Has anyone else had these issues?
you are right, 04-05 H's are bigger than 02-03 H's for the front, but that only goes for the real type r's because they have different grills. You have to get the 02-03, the smaller one, to fit your usdm grill

So since I have an 04-05 USDM EP3, I either have to upgrade to the Type R grill to fit the bigger "H" or downgrade to the 02-03 USDM grill to fit the "H" that I ordered? I was told that the one I currently have should fit, but it does not and If i want to go bigger then I have to go with the bigger one (coke size H). Is there not one out there that fits my current size? How come the back one is also smaller?
All stock usdm grills are the same on all ep3 si's, aside from matt or glossy finish. You need the red H from a 02-03 type r to fit your grill. When installing the front H, are you aware that you are supposed to take off the stock H and the backing supporting it. Once you take that out there should be a place to put the red H.
I checked the item numbers, it seems that you got the correct H's

Rear - http://yhst-1408381693991.stores.yah...cityrep3r.html
I thought that I would be able to just place the red "H" on after removing the stock "H". So if I remove the back support, then it should fit? What bout the rear? How come it looks smaller?
so you got the correct red H's. just remove the backing by taking out some screws from behind the grill.
take this off, and there will be a place for the red emblem.

Thank you very much. I will remove that piece to see if it will fit. How about the rear emblem, the red "H" looks somewhat smaller. Should it just fit right in?

Turboteg2nv - the issue here is that I basically put the emblem up to the one in the rear and it looked smaller. I didn't want to remove the stock one and open the red "H" from the package, just in case I had to return it. You should understand that much... right?

Can you show me a picture of how the "H" looks like on your 04-05 SI? I am assuming you have one since you have the picture there.

I usually do my research before I buy something, that way I know for sure it will fit and I won't have to return it. Then I don't have to go on the internet and make a thread about how I'm skeptical if it will fit or not before I've even tried it.
But that's just me.

Kinda goes hand in hand with doing research before you buy something (AKA looking it up online to see who's installed it before)...
You'll learn eventually. I hope.
yeah it looks smaller, but it fits perfectly in there. And like stated above the USDM grilles all share the same red H.
