Default YS1 Transmission Question

I know just about every question about YS1 gear ratios etc etc have been answered all over this and other various forums but i seem to have an odd problem. I bought a YS1 trans from a guy i know thinking it was a cable GSR trans. But when i opened the case to check the ratios, i found none of the ratios to match what GSR gear ratios are supposed to be. I counted the teeth and they were as follows.

1st - 3.23
2nd - 1.90
3rd - 1.26
4th - 0.96
5th - 0.74
Final Drive - 4.266

The case is a cable case with YS1 sticker on it. It seems to me that it has 1st through 4th and the final drive from a hydro LS and fifth from a cable ls, but i'm not even sure if all those parts are compatible with each other. If anyone has any input please chime in, I know i got screwed but i want to know exactly what i have. Thanks in advance.

hydro internals can fit in that casing ONLY that cable casing.so it could be hydro internals.you can put ys1 internals in a hydro casing too.

the gears are not that bad. pretty good for boost though and freeway cruising speeds/ good gas mileage.

i would contact the person who sold it to you and tell them that it is not a gsr transmission and see if you can get your money back, the same thing happened to me, bought a "ys1 gsr" transmission, ended up being an ls, got my money back

yeah the only way to tell if its an ls or gsr is either to put it in the car and drive with it, or do what the op did and take it apart and count the rings
