The date is set so put it on your calendars! As Im sure everyone will agree our BBQ/Meets at the park have been getting bigger and better every time. Our friends from SolFresh always show out with some sick rides and I know many of the locals are working on some impressive projects. There are also basketball courts and were hoping to get some whiffle ball and kick ball games going too

Myself and the local SHG guys will be there probably by 10, but naturally you can show up whenever you want. Its become somewhat tradition to go for a cruise and get some ice cream afterwards at Holy Cow or hit up Route 9 Dunks, so stop by even if its later in the day!

As usual we'll ask that people contribute to the food, drink, and supplies list. We'll need the usual barbecue stuff like Dogs, Burgers, Buns, Utensils, charcoal, water, drinks, beer, etc.
Please take a look at the Roll Call and try to bring something not already accounted for. Burgers Buns and Dogs (or whatever else can be thrown on the grill is most important!

We also ask that nobody does any burnouts, vtec passes, revs their car obnoxiously etc. People have been good in the past, but there are always some toolbags that have to stick out in the crowd. There will be NY state Troopers present. The past 2 meets they have sat at the entrance to the park. As far as I know nobody has gotten hassled. So just keep it cool and there wont be a problem.

Beware those of you with low cars, there is a big pothole if you follow the entrance road around the outside of the lot. Instead head in through the exit only road, and of course be cautious of other cars!

If you are careful and make sure no one is trying to get out you'll be fine, I do it every year **** that pot hole.

BTW Evan, if there's more than 50 people you need a permit. It's $25 and they will reserve the park for us that day

 

I think we should do that honestly, if some of us locals just chip in $2-3 dollars no big deal.

 

We looked into getting one last fall and the lady said dont worry about it, to just get there early enough to claim the spot. Does someone local want to give a call? Ill throw 5's on the fee if we need a permit.
