It depends on the size you're looking to run and your reasons for running it. Also, why is the current one bad? All a throttle has to do is meter airflow...there's not a lot one can screw up

I have a 69mm and the intake is port matched for an all motor ls/vtec build. I can do nothing to keep this aluminum throttle body from sticking like mad. If I set the stop screw to where it barely stays open to keep from sticking, the rpms are too high.

Dh-racing is absolute crap. Learn from me. I spent over 10k with Dave Hickman and I have had to replace everything that he built for me or sold me... including a ported head (one of the valve guides broke on the dyno and fell into cylinder 1), sleeved block (because of the head breaking), crank (he assembled my bottom end - bearings were too tight), throttle body 76mm (cracked at throttle plate axis), intake manifold (casting too thick at bolt area for nuts to tighten properly (stripped two in order to find that out). So, I spent over 10g's with him and I have nothing but scrap metal to show for it. It would almost be better if I didn't have the scrap to remind me of the mistake I made. DO NOT BUY FROM DH-RACING. He will string you along, sell you crap that is broken or unusable. In the process of working with him, I ordered some RC injectors.... they didn't even fit and were the low resistance type that require a box to run that he knew I did not have. He was willing to make a buck at the expense of me blowing my ecu injector driver circuit..... (fortunately, in the midst of my stupidity, I had the sense to test the injectors first and did not blow my ecu....)

To summarize.... Dave Hickman was basically driven out of California for his bad business practices.... today he resided in Las Vegas where he is approaching the same problem. He maintains basically decent feedback on ebay because he sells parts and people give him feedback before they discover that they are crap or have had a chance to install them.

I'm not a noob to the engine building game anymore... but I was once... as all beginners are... I have built my engine over and it is running like a champ - minus the crappy throttle body that I discovered is broken today... I'll be replacing that to resolve a bad idle, but the parts that are not DH-racing derived... are working great... I'm presently at 228whp and 178lb ft of torque - all motor - combined with my short ratio T1r gears in my type r tranny, it rips.... So, I learned my lesson, but it took two complete builds to do it.

DO NOT BUY FROM DH-RACING - owned by Dave Hickman. He takes forever to do anything, and what he does for others is crap. He will talk your ear off about how his car is sooo fast, but don't let that fool you into thinking that he'll be able to do that for you - and do it reliably. I'm not the only one who has paid dearly to him to learn my lesson.

May you find this story in time to save you thousands of dollars. Learn from my loss. Save your wallet, and save your heart.
