I was wondering if anyone kept the AC wit their oem HIDs? Is it possible? I just got a jdm front end conversion and have not wired the lights yet because i still have my AC in. Do the itrs in japan have AC?

lights dont have anything to do with AC.
and yes, jdm ITRs have option AC

 

Depending when your car was built, you may have to rebend one of the AC lines to fit around the OEM igniters. My 97 was like this, and so was a freind of mine's. Not everyone seems to have this problem though. Kind of weird since that particular line has the same part number for all years.

I found some older pics of my HID install. Here's the AC line that I had to bend. It's the sivler one with the purge valve on it:

It's really the valve part itself that is in the way. I ended up bending it so that it was on the other side of the black line.

Here's a pic of them installed. You can't see the lines too well from this angle, but it gives you an idea of what you have to do.
