Real deal JDM CR-X Si (ZC) spec's
I htought i'd take some time and enlighten some on the JDM market 1989 CR-X Si cars and what the deal is with them. So many people put all their efforts looking only to EF8 models (SiR), but the EF7 (Si) was also a very good model
Everyone knows the the 1.6L non vtec dohc zc makes 130hp and 108ft lbs tq. The EF7 was also lighter than the EF8 and has similar performance to it`s bigger brother. Back in 2002, the first rhd JDM spec car we brought in was an EF7, of which i have shared odd pics of over the years. Now remember, this is an 89 model, and shared many similarities to the usdm market crx.

The front of the car had the raised bump in the hood to clear the larger twin cam engine underneath. This car had both the glassroof option and front fog lights (unique to 87-89 models). Headlights used H4H bulbs which are a single bulb design. Clear corners were stock with amber side markers in the fenders.

The rear shows the optional hatch spoiler which is much less common to other models. The rear tail light still had the wrap around amber on the corners.

Inside, seats were cloth, with the letters CR-X stitched into them. Both the dash board and door panels had a gray kind of soft touch material covering them. Interior features also included power windows, fold in mirrors and dual map lights inside the came with the glassroof option.

Under the hood along with the zc engine both power steering and air were standard.
I don`t have many pics at the moment, but in late 1989 and early 1990, all cr-x models including the 1.5x, Si and SiR model cars all got the front SiR style front end. Some people thought it was on SiR only, but this is not the case.

no stepping on seats and take the car to work and then back
keep the criusing to a minimum (so your not on the seat for to long)
and if a small tear starts
you fix it before it gets worse ^_-
"thats what i do" and my seats are not faded and not ripped
I have 1990 JDM Si seats in my current car. This isn't a very good picture, but they are in very good shape, no wear, rips, and are not faded either! Not bad for $100

dont have your wallet on you when you drive( even more if your wallet have metal)
