Default I am New here, From DTM to JDM.......

Hey my name is Huss, i am new to these Forums. I am a BMW Guy, all what had since i got my driving licence is Bmws.....so after 5 years i closed a chapter in my life, and opend up a new one ha ha. i recently bought a 1999 Civic Sir, lightly Modded, since i just bought it as a beater to get me from school and back, then it will prolly be sold after that and i will be picking up another Bimmer, who knows i might get hooked into this Vtec honda game Lol.

Now some of you may ask about the change, here is why:

1. Bmws are expensive to keep up with, bad idea when your in school.
2. we are in a bad financial situation so i used half of the money i got from my RD e30 to help out my family.
3. sick of having 2 cars, just wanted one car. also 2' oilpan ground clearance is stupid in my city, also RWD isn't safe in winter.

Plans for the Civic? Stock exhaust, Get some nice summer wheels and drive it/

1985 325e..first car, dumped so much into it:
From this:

To this:

i then sold it and bought this:
1989 BMW 735il Racing Dynamics:

went from this:

To this:

Rolling pics with a friend's 850i

Sold it...i still regret ot :sportmax:
and bought this E28 as awinter beater while i had my E32 parked in my garage

to this:

Best winter beater ever....
Then sold it.

and bought a convertilbe E30.

to this:

and this:

and right before i sold it:

Sold it to probably one of the best bmw owners/fan in my local town i know it's in Goodhands (raxe's father)

then after i sold it...wanted to move into somthing newer, and bought this :sly:
1996 BMW 328is...
pics with a friend's E46.

sold it for really cheap, it needed tons of work.

then decided to be back to my origianl roots, small tails E30.
racing dynamics hottness

To this:

1.

2.

3.

4.

I sold it and picked up my new(est) ride...99 sir

and one for teh lulz

i also had a E21 at one time and a 84 318i and a subaru legacy.

Now i need some Questions answerd he he:

1. Can i fit Sportmax 501's on my EM1 with out doing any work on the Fenders or getting camber plates? i am Lowerd on H&R springs. i am Looking into the 501's +15 et offset....so what tire size that will clean and wont cause any Rubbing issues?

2. I am Also Looking into the Rota's Slipstreams, wondering what size do you guys ususally go for and what tire size?

3. Opinion on color for the Slipstreams? i am Consedring either Gun metal with polished lip or somthing Gold....? got any pics of cars with the same setup as mine?

4. i wanna hook up 6k Hids on my car? what bulb size and kit do you guys ususally go for?

It's already in the shop getting: Timing belt, water pump, Driving belts, Valve adjusment, synthetic oil change, wheel bearing done.

Thanks!

damn youve had alot of cars usually any low offset wheel will require fender rolling depending on how low you go you might be able to get away with a camber kit but id buy one anyways so you can adjust it. i def wouldnt do sportmaxx or rota. judging from your previous cars youve got some money just grab some authentic wheels.

imo, dont get slipstream in 2-tone. either black, gold, or white looks good in ebp (electric blue pearl).
Rota's are a great choice if you need to save some money.
on the 6k hids, they are 9003/HB2 bulbs.

Nice cars from the past.

15x7 with 35 offset will fit , 15x8 with 15 offset and lots of rolling the fender.

the most common sizes are 15x6.5 with a 40 offset , the slipstreams tend to come in this offering.

I really like the polished slipstreams. Offset options on Rota's are really nice too.

Nice ****, Huss. I used to own a 99 Civic Si (same as Canadian SiR) and loved every minute of it. They are fun cars. Take care of it, looks like you will judging from your Bimmers.

I really liked your 7 series and last e30. Nice work. You can never go wrong with a 99-00 si. Nice rev-happy car. I would check out the EM1 crew under group threads in appearance and cosmetics. Lots of electron blue civics on a large variety of wheels.

the 7series was a bitch to maintain...it has racing dynamics body kit tons of mods..

but i was in a better financial situation back then....coast me 2400$ just to refresh the front suspesnions.

but people get the ideas of having bmws wrong, if its an old bmw pre 1995 they are easy to work on, also tons of forums that you could get help and aks about things u would like to know.

but yah i loved my bmws, prolly will be back in one once am out from school.

on into my EM1, just had a T.B, Water pump, all the belts, Synthetic oilchange done...now it drives perfect. just gotta do ignition tune, fix wheel bearing, get rots, tint, and install hids an am done with mods.

but i am looking for a stock Headers-back exhaust if you guys know where to find it?
