I need help with the swap. I had a ls/vtec with itr tranny and then the timing belt broke. I bought this b16a3 engine to put in. I got the tranny and all the stuff switched over. dropped back into the hatch but now I noticed a lot of the plugs don't match up such as the alternator, the injectors won't plug in and some other ones. I was wondering what I need to do to get this all wired up and running. thanks in advance to anyone that helps me! This is frustrating and I been searching on google and everywhere but can't seem to find anything.

 

use the alternator and the injectors from the ls/vtec not that hard to figure out use your brain some common sense

 

really guy? I was reading that you can't use the alternator for some reasons. Those aren't the only plugs that don't fit either. I didn't know if you can use obd2 stuff on an obd1 engine.

 

if you can then I will just switch everything out

 

i think most of the sensors and things that are not lining up can come off your old engine and fit on the the ls vtec utilizing the existing plugs you have. I would poke around that see if it works....good luck
