Default From ricey to right..Take 2.

Okay the old thread has been demolished as to the fact that the car sat there for a year after having the worst luck with motors, and alot of things, such as moving, and money veered me away from my love.

-1998 Honda Civic Dx

We bought this car cash money when I was 16 years old. The project was moving along pretty fast before I blew the motor being a dumbass. For all those that have been dire fans of this build thank you all for the motivation. I do know this was a hell of a project, and maybe to much at sometimes, but it has been worth it the whole way through. To all the haters. Get the hell out.

For now I will give you a little time line with some pictures, get ya caught up and talk about future plans for this baby.

This is what she looked like the night I picked her up. Now you understand from ricey to right :D. A hell of a project. The wing, lights, and rims were gone within the next day, and sold to fund more parts.

Remember I didnt drop nearly any cash in to this project, most funds came from selling the ricey parts.

More pictures. 17's were sold to fund more oem parts, and replaced with cheap rollers to move it around the shop. Wing was sold- 150$. Chrome altezzas were traded for carbon, then they were quickly traded for 2000 oem ones. Someone get jipped :D. Here are more pics, and the last pics taken with the wide body.

The taking apart of the beast.

Fenders off

Side skirts and Neon kit off, and sold.

Quarter panels off, revealing minimal damage. Could have been worse.

Front end disassembled

Damaged Quarter Panel. No biggie

Even if it was a project car I would never drive in public like that.

Update Coming - Exterior Shots with the Widebody off, Oem replacements on!

Merry Christmas!

Bumpers, and front end!

Rear Bumper on. Exhaust Sold, and bent rod that destroyed my block.

How she sat with all the rice gone, and Minty OEM in her place. The front bumper is gone now, and will be replaced by the backyard special bumper. I am aware of the front end not lining up in these pics, it was mock pictures. We had to take it off to remove the engine that weekend.

So that is how she sits exterior wise. Only thing she is missing is the backyard special bumper, mirrors, and side skirts.

Update - Interior Shots!

Cleaning it up. We found three spare keys and about 20 dollars in change this guy didnt clean it out before he sold it to us.

Horrible paint job, that guy needs to be executed. I cant wait to spray this baby. Vogue silver metallic is what im looking at..More interior clean up.

Interior is being vinyl died, with SEM. Its top notch stuff. Landau Black of course.

All cleaned up

Nothing says fresh like a cold bud light

So now you see how the interior, and exterior are sitting. Still need a motor. Bumper, Mirrors, and skirts. Then shes good to go..More to come just had to get ya caught up.

Mostly had three buyers the whole time. Craigslist FTMFW! As you can see yea I did jump head first into a project wayy to big, but I handled it fine, and I am glad to start wrapping up the majors, such as motor, body work, and paint. After that its just small stuff. I am redoing the door panels. I have already cleaned the bay up, and tucked the headlight harness. I have brand new headlights need to post up those pictures lol. Anyways almost everything is done, and in place to be wrapping this baby up, just waiting on a motor. She will be done and rolling up to import alliance this year.

Well I have had her about a year. After the motor blew, I had some bad luck with the wrong sellers. Picked up 3 bad motors one after the other luckily all times I got my money back. I also moved and had to pack the car up and move it. I ended up getting my current DD, and focused on school. I ran out of funds after I ran out of parts to sell lol. *Unemployed teenager* But now my parents are funding it as a graduation present. So alot will be going on around here again. I say almost a year since I started working on it. She will never be completed, as far as big stuff though. She will be painted, and running by import alliance this year. Thats in July. Roughly 4 months?

She has had a rough history but has taught me everything I know about cars, and has been more then worth all the sleepless nights in the garage, all the busted knuckles, and headaches.
