Default Mouab18c1's Car Makeover

Hi everyone, It's time for a makeover. I've owned my Integra for about 3 1/2 years now and have never been satisfied with the looks. Its either had body damage or un matched paint on the body so its going to get all the body work it needs and a fresh paint job. The paint will still be Milano Red but if anyone has any ideas on any other red that looks good then give me a heads up. Enjoy, ill be updating this until everything is done.

Here is how she was 3 years ago at Lower Granite Dam (Sturgeon Fishing) ;D

Then after I got hit twice:

And after she got a bad paint job on the front end, the guy never primered it and painted over the white which is why it turned out more pink then red. Also at Lower Granite Dam (Sturgeon Fishing) 3 years later :D

So now we will be doing:
Bodywork as in fixing dings and dents
Shaving side moldings, antenna hole, and emblem holes

Here are some pics:

The hood is hella warped so alot of work is going to it.

Good luck, I'm looking forward to the progress. I'm about to dig into the same project, but I'll be keeping mine horizon grey.

Are you bondoing over paint? It looks like it, it wont stick as good as direct to metal.

I would go with the red paint that the ap1 s2ks come with. I'm not sure of the code.

I have 2 year old Milano red on my car and when I park right next to my friend's 01 s2 his is way more bright, looks a bit better IMO.

No the paint is scuffed. My cousin is fairly good at bodywork so I take his word. We are doing all the bodywork before hand so we are only scuffing the dented parts for now. Once all the dents are fixed then the whole car will be scuffed.

Thanks. Good luck with your project as well. Milano red is just a thought as of right now. Still open to other options and yes the whole car is getting a makeover.

Will you be doing the paint yourself?

bondo should be applied over bare metal, scuffed paint is only good for more paint not filler, it will work but some be surprised if it doesnt last for the long hall. im pretty sure youll be fine, update us

Thats what people say but my cousin's pretty good, so I take his word. And its filler, not Bondo brand. Will post more pics later. Its almost ready to be sprayed.
