Do the front struts have a rubber cap on the srings?
So I'm getting to the rear struts after putting on the front.
When I was cleaning out the strut mount, a rubber boot fell out that would have gone on the spring.
I don't remember this boot being on the fronts, but then again I might have missed them. I put the boot that came with the new struts, so now I might have 2 on the front.
I'm hesitant to take the front apart again, but if there's a boot there, I'll have to.....

Are you referring to the rubber spring isolator?
If so, there generally should be one between the spring and upper shock mount, but not all setups make use of one.
