Default Blew my d16z6 block

I Have a 95 d16 and just blew a hole in my block. I found this: "92 EG Si D16Z6 complete motor with missing parts (dizzy, vtec solenoid, fuel rail & injectors, iacv, & crank pulley), will not part out anything from the motor (will come with bill of sale) - 150 OBO"

Will I have any problems just using the block from this and using all the old stuff from my current engine? Just seems like it's a bit too perfect. My step dad(a mechanic) worries I may have fitment issues since they are 3 years apart. Nay help?
Thanks

it is really cheap for a z6, but if it's legit, it will work just fine.

Why would he worry that an identical motor have fitment issues? Its the same exact motor you have with a hole sitting in your engine bay, minus the hole and broken rod and metal chunks. Its not a B Series, you just pull one Z6 and put another Z6 in its place. Only error I see there is the add itself, Complete motor... A complete motor is a complete motor, That guy is just selling a long block. Doesn't matter anyway, if he was selling a complete motor its still a direct replacement, D16Z6 is the same as D16Z6.

sweet! Thank you. 3 votes yes is all I need. Now I just have to make sure this guy isn't full of it.

You're right though it isn't complete but it will work for me especially at $150

Hell even just the bottom end, a straight up block is worth 150. As long as its all good. Do some inspection on it before going through the work of installing it. Pull the oil pan and check for play in the rods and scoring on the cylinder walls or metal on the bottom of the pan.

180000 miles on it. Supposedly in good condition and well maintained. Got a few pics.

$150 might be worth the risk I'm thinking. Either that or scrap the car. Not worth the money when I'm moving across the country in a few months.

150 sounds pretty good for a z6 longblock

that AEM cam gear is ~100 $ alone

The year for ur chasis is 92-95 so if this is a 95 u shouldn't have a problem. Fitting a motor in ur bay is never a issue with sohc's... Buy it now or give me the number and I will! Haha

Its a direct replacement for sure. Just swap over the parts from your old Z6. And what caused you to throw a rod through the block? What did you do to it?
