97 coupe with a 2.0L b16b
Thought I would share a couple of pics of my long time project. This was the first car I've ever bought over 9 years ago so its been quite a process of building and learning. When I first bought it I didn't know the difference between a horn and a thermostat. I won't lie I blew up (spun #4 rod bearing) generally beating on it like the bad racecar I thought it was. I picked up a b16b swap on Ebay from Japan, yes Ebay and it came with basically everything in the front clip.
I ran that stock for a year and decided to build it up to a 1.8 over the winter in my kitchen, haha! I put down 205/140 to the wheels with that so naturally I wanted to go bigger. That was about 5 years ago, I bought a wrangler and that was my project while most of the Honda sat and sat. I finally decided to finish the build this past winter, for those that care a build sheet follows. I will post more pics as I go along, this is just to get something started as most stuff is in mockup close to completion. Doing a wire tuck, battery relocation, brake line tuck.

Getting closer to getting the engine bay all done. Have to polish the letters on the valve cover, run a couple vacuum lines, sandblast and paint the intake and finish the catchcan setup. Then the wiring begins.....

Oh Yeah, should be pretty peppy.
I don't know exactly how much its cost so far, I have saved all of the receipts in a drawer and someday I will count them up! It's all been worth it just going through the learning process.

Ya, the ss means stainless steel (braided lines). Glad to see youre degreeing your engine. Should probably clay it too, just to be safe!
Good luck on your build.
