ok, so i got a deal on this gsr tranny that had a broken shift mechanizim. $100. the kid said it worked fine before. i replaced the complete shifting mechanizim. i also put in new axles because my old ones where shot. everything works good but when i start getting into higher rpms i get a vibration. sometimes it verys from side to side. and it dosent look like my axle boosts are ripped but brand new axle grease is splattered all over the place. any input?

i am going to get an aligment soon but i never seen this happen

 

I thought if the axles were going bad you would get a vibration like that. Start with the easiest thing first and wipe off all that grease and see where it's coming from.

Are you sure it's axle grease and not tranny fluid?

 

yes i am sure. its thick and blue lol. i got 10w30 in the tranny.
