big brake kit for del sol question??????
hey i was wondering i want to buy a big brake kit for my 1995 honda del sol si and the kit i was looking at is the wilwood and its 12inch rotors and i was wondering if i get the big brake kit for the front would i be able to keep the stock brakes for the back ..or will it not work cause i heard if i have big brakes in the front and stock in the back my fronts will keep locking up ..so is this true and if it is what brakes would be good for the rear i heard integra brake...and will the integra brakes bolt straight on?????
There was a guy in the Honda Tuning magazine this month with a 94 Del Sol that put NSX calipers on, and an Integra Type R master cylinder and got it to work. I don't know caliper wise though, whether you'd go up or stay the same. Instead of bigger brakes, why not just try an Integra master cylinder? It'd be bigger diameter and push more.
what do you mean....all i want to know is if i can use the stock back brakes if i have a big brake kit on the front..so you saying iam gunna have to change my brake booster is that what you mena by master cylinder????
can't really see why you would...you do so little braking in the back as is.
id say bigger brake kit...do you even need it?
and bigger MC.
