hey i was wondering i want to buy a big brake kit for my 1995 honda del sol si and the kit i was looking at is the wilwood and its 12inch rotors and i was wondering if i get the big brake kit for the front would i be able to keep the stock brakes for the back ..or will it not work cause i heard if i have big brakes in the front and stock in the back my fronts will keep locking up ..so is this true and if it is what brakes would be good for the rear i heard integra brake...and will the integra brakes bolt straight on?????

 

Youd just have to change the proportioning valve.

 

where is that located and where could i get a better one?

 

Its located on the fire wall. It has 4 lines going into it and 2 lines going out of it going to the master cylinder. I ran a GSR proportioning valve on my big brake setup, but i also had bigger rear brakes, so youd have to maybe ask Wilwood whats the best to use, they will know what you need. I dont know off the top of my head. Do you have drums in the rear or disc?

You don't need a prop valve.

 

so i can just keep the back brakes stock and put the big brake kit on the front and iam good to go?
