Brand Name or Generic strut bars... any big difference??
I am just wondering if there is any big difference between the Brand Name strut bars and the Generic strut bars? I am just curious if anyone went with the generic strut bars over brand name strut bars.
- Give some reasons why you went either way.

i made the mistake of buying obx strut bars for my old DA and they sucked *****. when i would turn they would creak like a fat man on a wood floor
. for the most part they're all the same, just make sure they're non-adjustable.

Why you say make sure they're not adjustable? I know that products like DC SPORTS that have holes in them flex and all and basically do nothing. But y non adjustable? I have both f/r upper struts bars from pep boys (i know i know) and their adjustable, and they work. As far as Im concerned brand names and generic all work and do the same thing. Yea i know that some are thicker than others but other than that whats the difference?
Adjustable will give, solid will not. It is very important to have as little flex as possible to make your car handle better.
I had generic pieces of ***** before my Spoon Sports bars. The mounting plate on the generics was thin and weak. The new ones are light and solid.
